Chimei Museum is renowned for its collections of Western Arts, music instruments, armory, taxidermy and fossils. These 4000 plus collections make up of roughly a third of all exhibits.

Tainan City Art Museum is Taiwan’s first Incorporated Administrative Agency art museum which opened in January 2019. It was designed in collaboration with Shigeru Ban Architects, the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, and Shi Zhaoyong Architects.
