｜Tainan Art Museum Building 1
The main building, originally the Tainan Police Adminsitration, was completed in 1931 and was designated as a Tainan City Historic Site in 1998, making it one of the best preserved police administration buildings in Taiwan.
｜Tainan Art Museum Building 2
Designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, the main building is a pure and strong pentagonal shape with Tainan's characteristic phoenix flower, and various square-shaped spaces are vertically stacked and staggered to create a free and flexible visiting line, while the semi-outdoor terrace is shaped into a lounge and activity space with stairs, making it a popular tourist spot in Tainan in recent years.

The large pentagonal shade roof is designed to simulate the effect of nature's shade in response to the local climate of Tainan. When the sun shines on the shattered roof at different angles, it can present a beautiful light and shadow like light penetrating through the leaves.

The exhibition space in the building 2 includes 16 exhibition rooms, a collection storage room, a cross-disciplinary exhibition hall, a children's art center, a creative workshop, a souvenir exhibition area, a light dining area, a restaurant with a view, and a public parking lot in the basement for public use.
Based on theories of art education and children's sensory development, the Children's Art Center uses diversified and cross-disciplinary learning approaches such as exploration, inspiration, and experience to design teaching aids and experiential facilities and provide a variety of creative media to enable children to understand basic art concepts and gain visual and tactile sensory experiences.
The museum offers a variety of educational activities based on permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions, and special festivals, as well as children's art experience activities from time to time, which provide a rich experience for children and families to visit the museum.

Secret and Senses is located on the first floor of the Lakeshore Hotel, near the Tainan Art Museum.
