| Eternal Golden Castle Full Ticket

Eternal Golden Castle: Step into the first Western style fortress in modern Taiwanese history!

Eternal Golden Castle, a national historic site, is the first modern western-style fortress on the island of Taiwan and an important bastion witnessing the history of "mountain opening and pacifying the aborigines" and "modernization of coastal defense" in Taiwan. Constructed by Qing Dynasty Grand Councillor Shen Baozhen in 1876, it adopted the Western star fort style in architectural design, resembling a huge square city.

Stepping into the Eternal Golden Castle, you can ascend the thick city wall to get a panoramic view of the coastal defense fortress of that era and experience the majestic momentum of "holding a pass guard against ten thousand enemies". The wide moat, the replicated Armstrong artillery platform, all tell the tale of this land's resilience and determination when faced with foreign invasions. It's more than just a term from history textbooks, but an excellent spot where you can physically touch Taiwan's modern history and feel the changing tides of time.

▲ The central open space serves as a drill field for soldiers

▲ Armstrong giant cannon

▲ Eternal Golden Castle is connected with a reinforced concrete bridge across the moat

|Fort Zeelandia Full Ticket

Fort Zeelandia: Trace back to the origins of Taiwan's history with Dutch relics!

Fort Zeelandia, formerly known as "Zeelandia" (Zeelandia), is the oldest castle in Taiwan and a key landmark witnessing the beginning of Taiwan's history. It was established by the Dutch East India Company in 1624 and served as the center of Dutch rule in Taiwan, hence it was known as "Taiwan City".

Entering Fort Zeelandia, you can see the weather-beaten red brick walls that have stood for hundreds of years, as well as the remnants left over from the Qing Dynasty. From the viewing platform, not only can you overlook the historical streets of Anping District, but you can also imagine the heyday when Taiwan was a hub of international trade. The fort is not only a military fortress relic, but a microcosm of Taiwan's history over the past four centuries, making it a must-visit first stop in exploring Taiwan's history and culture.

|Full ticket for the Anping Treehouse

Anping Treehouse: A surreal secret world cohabiting with century-old banyan trees!

The Anping Treehouse was originally a warehouse of the British firm Tait & Co. The most captivating feature is its peculiar scene of cohabitation with century-old banyan trees. After the warehouse was abandoned, the intertwined aerial roots and branches of the banyan trees freely grew and climbed, penetrating walls and rooms, completely enveloping the entire building. It's as if the trees are devouring the structure, creating a surreal natural wonder. Entering the treehouse, you will traverse the labyrinth of entwined roots, feeling a vitality full of wildness and tranquility. The shadows and light cast through the foliage create a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere, making you feel as if you are in a fantastical scene out of a Hayao Miyazaki animation. Not only is it a paradise for photography enthusiasts, but it's also a must-visit spot to experience the intersection of Tainan's nature and history.

|Fort Provintia Full Ticket

Fort Provintia: The heart of Tainan's Fu City, witnessing the historical confrontation between the Dutch and the Zheng Dynasty!

Fort Provintia, formerly known as "Provintia", is one of the most famous historical landmarks in Tainan Fu City, along with Fort Zeelandia. It was originally built by the Dutch in 1653 as an administrative and commercial center, echoing Zeelandia City across the sea.

The history of this building is full of drama: it was once a Dutch stronghold, but after Koxinga regained Taiwan, it became the highest administrative center of the Dongning Kingdom. Today, Fort Provintia integrates the Dutch base, Qing Dynasty stone tablets, and Chinese-style Wenchang Pavilion and Sea God Temple, showing a unique style of layered cultures. Particularly, the nine Bixi carrying steles underneath are unique historical relics in Taiwan. Walking around Fort Provintia, you will be able to personally feel a microcosm of Taiwan's historical changes over nearly four centuries.

|Tainan Confucius Temple

The first Confucius Temple in Taiwan is in Tainan

In 1665 AD, during the reign of Zheng Chenggong's son, Zheng Jing, with the assistance of Chen Yonghua, a politician for the military, proposed: "A holy temple and a school must be established to gather talents; if a country has a sage, the state itself is solid, and the world will prosper day by day." Zheng Jing agreed and established the Confucius Temple in the administrative center of Chengtian Prefecture (today's Tainan City) to worship Confucius, promote national studies, and promote education.
For more than three hundred years, the majestic temple and lofty academy symbolize the continuous inheritance of Chinese culture here, staking the claim of "Seashore Zoulu".
