Tainan Confucius Temple

The Tainan Confucius Temple has more than 300 years of history, and is the most important historical site in Tainan, the cultural and historical capital of Taiwan. The dull red hue of bricks forming the outer wall is a color deeply entrenched in the Tainan identity. It is wonderfully complementary to the bright rays of sunlight in this city. Fuzhong Street

After visiting the Confucius Temple, you can spend some time on Fuzhong Street, which is right across from the temple, to experience for yourself the charms of Tainan's alleyways. There are numerous boutiques and specialty shops on Fuzhong Street. Here, you can try various snacks and delicacies.

Hayashi Department Store

Opened in 1932, Hayashi was the second department store in Taiwan. The five-story building, with the first electric elevator installed, was the tallest landmark in Tainan.  Today it has become a cultural and creative department store full of historic traces.

Du Hsiao Yueh Danzai Noodles

Classic snack that dates back to 1895, with prawn head stock being one of the features.

Sicao Green Tunnel

This mangrove forest, a mere 15-minute drive from the city, stretches on as far as the eyes can see, its verdant canopy luscious and thick with life. Travelers drift down the dreamy emerald waterway on a bamboo raft, seeking the legendary Angel's Kiss.

Sio House (Salt Museum)

More than a century ago, Taiwan's salt production industry thrived along its coasts, and this stronghold of the salt-making business now lies right under your feet. Here, you can find “birthday salts” available in 366 colors, each of which is a limited edition. Find your own unique birthday salt!

Anping Tree House

The existing structure was built during the Japanese Occupation Period. After World War II, it became a salt warehouse.  Abandoned for more than half a century, banyan trees grew and took over the place.  The awe-inspiring scene of nature and man-made structures intertwined with one another is retained with restoration efforts.

Shennong Street

Used to be a commercial hub in the Old Five Channels Area, today’s Shennong Street is a seemingly old and narrow alleyway.  The artistic light boxes adorn the street at night, adding to its charm.  The old street houses here are now home to chic shops and stylish bars. 

Blueprint Culture & Creative Park

The park was built from a former prison dormitory, which, through a restoration process, has been infused with new life. Architectural blueprints are brought to life through the spatial design of these buildings. You may find numerous boutique shops selling creative and cultural products in the park, and also lots of photo-worthy, tasty foods, perfect for those IG posts. This park is undoubtedly a great choice for a leisurely evening walk.

  Fees

  • Transportation: We provide charter services for your trip. Please select and confirm your car type.
  • Tour Guide: The guide will provide you sightseeing information in the car. During the booking process, please confirm the language you wish the guide to speak.
  • Meals: Travelers are to make their own meal arrangements
  • Activities: Travelers are to make their own meal arrangements
  • Insurance: Passenger insurance provided by the company

  Items not covered by the booking fee

  • All expenses not stated above, including expenses incurred by the individual such as the purchase of beverages, shopping expenses, and miscellaneous expenses.
  • Passengers wishing to include specific items not covered under the company's insurance are welcome to purchase their personal travel insurance on their own.
  • Any other expenses not stated above, including expenses incurred due to customized tours, expenses charged to the individual, or expenses incurred during free and easy tours.

  Other Important Information

  • We provide charter services for your trip. Please confirm your car type and luggage space required when you make your booking.
  • If the duration of the charter service exceeds that of the original booking, extensions will be charged by the hour, at the rate of 420 NT dollars for each additional hour (please clear any additional payment at the shop itself).
  • Please inform us in advance if you require child safety seats. These seats are free for use, but subject to availability.
  • Additional charges for travel to other areas (please pay on the spot)

  Additional fee of NT$500 for the following areas: Outskirts of Tainan (areas beyond Tainan City, excluding the mountainous areas, such as Qigu, Beimen)

  Additional fee of NT$1000 for the following areas: Mountainous areas of Tainan (such as Guanziling, Meiling, Wushantou)

  Please note

  • You will receive confirmation of your booking via Tainan Pass within 2 working days from the date of booking. The voucher will be sent to your email address.
  • If the email does not appear in either your inbox or spam folder (please check both) within the above time frame, please contact our customer service officer through email immediately.
  • A minimum advance notice of 72 hours is required to change or cancel bookings, and the process is only final after you receive confirmation notice. Failure to comply will result in a partial refund.
