Karma Kagyu Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist temple (White Sect) located in Tainan City. Established in 1985, this monastery includes a Dharmarāja hall, monk's abbey, pagoda, nun's abbey, and Treasure god's cave. Combining both Tibetan and Chinese Buddhism styles, it is one of a kind. In the Buddhist Monastery, the Buddha's Pagoda rises high above and is eye-catching to visitors even from a very far distance. Therefore, the neighboring mountain area is nicknamed as "Pagoda Mountain."
