Baoan Station is the most comprehensively preserved wooden station in Taiwan. The architecture is constructed from Chinese Cypress and its original appearance has been maintained. The station is currently declared a tourist station by Taiwan Railways and the Yongbao-Ankang (meaning eternal health and safety in Chinese) souvenir train tickets launched in conjunction with Ankang Station are extremely popular.
